Definitions

“We”, “us” or “our” means P Shiyani trading as Precious Sentiments. “You”, “the customer” or “the buyer” means the person, company  or entity contracting to purchase the goods. “The goods” are the items that you order from us as specified by our order acknowledgement  and on our invoice. ”Website” refers to www.PreciousSentiments.com, or any subsequent URL that may replace it, or any other website owned and operated by Precious Sentiments.

Order Acceptance

We can receive orders via our website, by phone, post or email using the contact methods published on our website or in other publicity materials. We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders or to require additional confirmation at our discretion. We acknowledge receipt  of your orders via an appropriate communication: For example, web based orders are acknowledged automatically by email, telephone orders are acknowledged verbally at time of order. Orders placed by telephone are accepted when the order is placed and a contract of sale then exists between us and you from that time. If orders are placed by mail or via our website, no contract exists between you and us until our official invoice has been issued.

Pricing

We endeavour to ensure that all published prices are correct, however we reserve the right to change prices without notice and not to accept orders at prices that have been quoted in error. Prices are quoted in pounds sterling unless specifically stated.

Payment We accept all major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, Eurocard, Solo, Switch and Delta. Payment is also accepted in Pounds Sterling by cheque with order (made payable to P Shiyani). Shopping at Precious Sentiments is completely safe. All credit card payments are validated and processed by PayPal UK. No credit card details are held by us at any time. PayPal use the very latest SSL (secure Socket Layer) encryption technology, thus ensuring that your details are safe while shopping online. Once we have received your purchase request we will begin to process you order. Please be aware that full payment will be taken from your card when we have accepted your order. Product prices exclude postage, which is added at the checkout. Payment must be received in full before your order can be accepted. Overseas customers please note you will be billed in GBP pounds (£) sterling.

Delivery

We aim to despatch orders within 48 hours of receipt, subject to stock availability, but please allow up to a maximum of 28 days for delivery. Orders are delivered by the most appropriate method, usually first class by Royal Mail, parcel post or courier. If any delays in dispatch occur, we will endeavour to keep you informed.

Please ensure that you are available to sign for the delivery of the goods and the address is correct with a full post code. Once the goods  are in the possession of Royal Mail or an international postal service, Precious Sentiments cannot be held responsible for any delivery delays, this includes delays due to inclement weather, misrouting, incorrect delivery addresses and force majeure.

Please note if you live in the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland & Non-Mainland UK, your order may take longer to be delivered.

Austria, Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, Iceland,  Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Ireland, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK and USA.

The charge for delivery to UK and the Channel Islands are: 

Orders under £75:    £5.95 – Royal Mail Signed For (within 2-3 working days)*                           
Orders of £75 and over will receive FREE delivery. 

*Subject to Royal Mail services. Any deliveries to offshore or remote areas may take longer than 2-3 working days.

Charges for delivery to the EU and other countries:
£12.95 – EU, delivered by Royal Mail Airsure or International Signed For. 

Deilvery times are subject to local postal services of the destination country.

Please note all deliveries require a signature.

Shipments outside the European Union (EU) may be subject to local import charges and taxes, which are the responsibility of the
purchaser.

Cancelling your order

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order prior to despatch, please contact us on 01784 257090 or 07900 187814 at the earliest opportunity to arrange the cancellation, or email us at info@precioussentiments.com quoting your order reference number.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us but occasionally, we know you may want to return or exchange items.
If you receive your order and decide that you do not wish to keep some or all of the goods, you can return them for a refund or exchange. Please return it to us, unworn within 14 days of purchase, in the original packaging with proof of purchase, your contact details and reason for return. Please note for reasons of health and hygiene earrings cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. We also cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom sized pieces, engraved or personalised items, or pieces made specifically for you unless an error has been made by Precious Sentiments. We cannot accept returns after this 14 day period.

Please note that it is your responsibility to take care of the products and ensure they are returned to us safely & in a ‘as new’ condition. We will refund the cost of the product to you upon receipt of the returned items. We cannot refund the cost of postage for unwanted items.

If you wish to exchange your jewellery, postage will be payable for the exchanged item to be sent safely to you. Postage can be paid by credit card or cheque, which can be included with the returned piece.

We recommend that any returns or exchanges are sent to us with adequate insurance such as Special Delivery and that you retain a proof  of postage for your records. Precious Sentiments is not responsible for damage or loss in transit.

We offer a full refund guarantee on faulty items. Goods must be returned in the original condition, unused and in the original packaging.
In the unlikely event of the goods we deliver not being what you ordered or there being a shortfall in delivery quantity or if your order is damaged, please notify us by telephone or by e-mail of the problem within 48 hours of delivery of the goods in question. Precious Sentiments will not accept reporting of any errors after this time. You can contact us by email at info@precioussentiments.com or telephone 01784 257090. Your refund will be made within 1-7 days of receipt of the returned item(s) and the postage costs will also be reimbursed.

Upon receipt of returned items, refunds are actioned through PayPal back to the card used to make the original purchase. Paypal will then inform you that the refund has been made.  Depending on the credit card/debit card used for the transaction the refund will take between 1-7 days.  The card or Paypal account used for the purchase will be credited with the cost of the goods minus any delivery charges (exceptions may apply).

If we acknowledge an order but, for some reason outside our control, we are unable to complete the transaction within 28 days then any payment made will be refunded immediately if you ask us to do so (this does not include postal delays).

These terms do not affect your consumer statutory rights.

Retention of Title

Whether or not delivery has been made, property in the goods does not pass from us to the customer until full payment is received.

Specifications and Information

Goods are supplied subject to standard specifications and, unless specifically agreed to the contrary, may be manufactured by any of our approved vendors. While we endeavour to publish and supply as much product and application data as possible, we are unable to assess the viability of every possible application of the goods.  It is the customer’s duty to ensure that the goods ordered are suitable for the application in which they intend to use them. We endeavour to ensure that all published information is correct but we shall not be under any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential damage, loss or expense that may be caused as a result of any error or omission in any information either published by or supplied by us. Please note that exact colours and finishes are difficult to reproduce accurately on websites and printed materials and that customers should not place undue reliance upon such reproductions. As our products are all hand crafted there may be some slight variations in colours or designs. Please note images are not always actual size.

Complaints

We aim to deal with any complaints in a fair and timely manner. Any complaints should be addressed in writing to us at the published address.

Limitation of Liability

By using this website you agree to indemnify Precious Sentiments and any of its directors, employees or other representatives against any claims, direct, indirect or consequential damage, loss or expense that may be caused as a direct or indirect result of the use of this website and any information or computer software contained therein or by your access to other websites as a result of links from this site. We make every effort to ensure that this website does not contain any computer viruses but cannot guarantee this or warrant that it is virus-free.

Use of the website

This website is the property of Precious Sentiments. This includes all web design, text, graphics, source code and software. No part of this site may be reproduced, downloaded, linked to or otherwise used without the express written permission of Precious Sentiments. Permission is granted to electronically copy and to print in hard copy portions of this Website for the sole purpose for using this Website as a shopping resource and to place an order with Precious Sentiments. All copyright, design right and other intellectual property rights in our designs and products (and in the images, text and design of this website) are and will remain the property of Precious Sentiments. Any infringement of these rights will be pursued vigorously.

Law

All disputes arising out of, or in connection with, any contract between us and the buyer shall be governed by English Law and the buyer accepts the jurisdiction of the English courts.

Modification of terms

Precious Sentiments reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the Precious Sentiments website.
